The Role We are seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Manager or Senior Manager to help lead the next stage of our growth. You will manage a wide variety of appointments, including voluntary administrations, liquidations, bankruptcies, and advisory engagements. You will also contribute to internal systems development, staff mentoring, and business development. The role reports directly to the Principal. This is a great opportunity for an emerging leader ready to step into a senior role within a supportive and agile environment. Your Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of corporate and personal insolvency appointments Lead investigations, stakeholder engagement, and asset realisation strategies Prepare statutory reports, detailed investigations, and Court documentation Mentor and supervise junior consultants Liaise directly with directors, creditors, legal advisors, and regulators Contribute to internal improvements and client growth initiatives What You Bring Ideally 5+ years’ experience in corporate and/or personal insolvency (less may be considered for outstanding candidates) Strong technical knowledge with proven ability to manage files autonomously Excellent communication skills with commercial and emotional intelligence A collaborative leadership style and mentoring mindset CA/CPA/IPA qualified (or near completion); ARITA qualification highly regarded Full Australian work rights (citizen or permanent resident) Why Join Helios Competitive salary: $120k–$165k + Super + Performance Bonus (top of band negotiable for exceptional candidates) Flexible working arrangements and commitment to genuine work/life balance Accelerated progression for high performers – we reward capability, not just tenure Direct access to firm leadership and a voice in key decisions Opportunity to work across both corporate and personal insolvency appointments Transparent, modern, and collaborative culture Study support for CA/CPA/IPA/ARITA qualifications Regular team events and professional development opportunities Ready to Take the Next Step?
