Council of the City of Sydney, Österreich Wisr Vollzeit

Wisr is committed to building a supportive, inclusive and diverse workplace, and we strongly encourage applications from all backgrounds and identities. We’re happy to accommodate any reasonable adjustments to the interview process to ensure equal opportunity for all. If you require reasonable adjustments, please reach out to us via . Our Why, What And How We are a proudly purpose‑led ASX‑listed fintech on a mission to power peoples’ progress and make a real difference in the world, starting right here in Australia. By building products and experiences designed to have a positive impact on the financial health and lives of our customers, we are inching ever‑closer to achieving our purpose. We offer smarter, fairer loans that help people kick their goals sooner, a nifty round‑up tool to help people get out of debt and save even faster, and a dashboard that helps people track and improve their credit scores. The better we do this, the more positive change and impact we can have on our customers. Now is the time to join one of Australia’s fastest growing fintechs and make an impact. We are a people‑first business and value flexibility as part of our work – our team works in a hybrid working environment, 3 days per week in our beautiful office space. About The Role At Wisr, we’re on a mission to power peoples’ progress, and helping Australians take control of their finances and achieve their goals. In order to achieve this, we want to be the fastest and most straightforward lender that our customers and partners deal with – this means faster loan application processing and a seamless customer experience powered by automation, digitisation and AI. Reporting to the COO, you will lead the planning and implementation of initiatives that boost operational efficiency, enable growth in our loan origination volumes, and deliver stand‑out customer experiences and outcomes. This is a hands‑on role, suited to an experienced lending process professional where you will own the delivery of a straight‑through process from loan application to settlement with no human interaction. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their experience achieving this, while partnering with a range of stakeholders across Wisr to deliver real business impact. What You’ll Do Deep‑dive into how we originate loans and service customers, uncovering opportunities to streamline workflows, remove friction and improve policies. Design and implement process changes, automation projects, digitisation initiatives and deployment of AI capabilities that align with our goals. Solve operational challenges by working hands‑on with teams across Product, Technology, Credit Risk, Operations and Data. Identify and deliver improvements that standardise and strengthen processes for compliance, efficiency and quality. Document processes, workflows and standards so they’re clear, consistent and easy to follow. Track, measure and report how improvements are impacting customer experience, risk, and financial outcomes. Champion a culture of “find the best way” – adaptable, open‑minded, and focused on results over ego. Champion a continuous improvement mindset by mentoring and guiding cross‑functional teams, sharing improvements, and best practice approaches. Build and embed process excellence across Wisr, creating a competitive edge and delivering better outcomes for our customers and the business. Work closely with the COO to turn emerging opportunities or operational challenges into actionable initiatives. You Will Thrive In This Role If You love blending process optimisation and problem solving with real business impact, working with teams that value fresh thinking and getting things done. You will see the changes you implement make a real difference in faster processes, positive customer feedback and smooth operations. About You You are an experienced problem solver and process optimisation professional with a track record of delivering real change to lending processes that lead to a step‑change in customer outcomes. You love to bring people along the journey, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You’ll Also Have/Be Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Qualifications in change management, process improvement, business analysis and project management will be well regarded. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline. Highly analytical mindset with a focus on using data to drive decision making and measure results. Experience in data analytics and building dashboards with data visualisation tools such as Tableau (or similar) will be highly regarded. Experience designing and delivering process improvement initiatives and programs within financial services ideally in consumer lending.
