This position will carry out on-ground restoration work including weed control planting habitat rehabilitation and seeding. You will support the achievements of the organisation by completing on-ground vegetation management to conserve and restore the natural environment. This is an opportunity to work on country and apply practical land management skills and is primarily an outdoors position which involves physical activities and the operation of equipment in a range of locations and in a variety of weather conditions. Essential Criteria Previous bush regeneration experience Current NSW Manual Drivers License and own transport Physical ability to carry out weed control planting habitat restoration fencing etc Ability to work in a team environment Self-motivated strong work ethic A valid WWCC or ability to obtain ChemCert qualifications (or willing to obtain) Ability to interact with broader community in a respectful and engaging manner. Previous experience in a similar field or role either through employment or voluntary work. Previous experience driving and reversing a trailer Desirable Criteria Certificate II or III in Conservation and Land Management Strong knowledge of local vegetation communities and local native plants / weeds Data input and mapping skills.
