Project Manager - ICT Join to apply for the Project Manager - ICT role at Michael Page About Our Client We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Project Manager - ICT to lead and deliver critical projects within the public health sector focusing on Pathology services. The client is working on a statewide initiative which will have a massive impact in the way patients view care. This temporary role is based in Brisbane CBD and offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the technology department. Job Description Plan, execute, and manage ICT projects within the public sector to achieve set objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring adherence to agreed deliverables. Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth delivery. Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and task delegation. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders and management. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and procedures in the technology department. Facilitate project reviews and implement lessons learned to improve future project outcomes. The Successful Applicant A Successful Project Manager - ICT Should Have: Proven experience managing ICT projects within the public sector or similar environments. Previous experience working in Government and health sector. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations effectively. Proficiency in utilising project management software and tools. Knowledge of compliance standards and policies within the technology industry. Exceptional communication and leadership skills to guide project teams successfully.
