Company Accountant | $110,000 | Sydney CBD $110,000 | Collaborative culture | Strong leadership group CBD location | Close to public transport Ideal opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper The Opportunity Join a well-established investment firm as the Company Accountant. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial processes, strong internal controls, and timely reporting across multiple entities. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a professional environment. The Challenge Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include: Processing and reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions Scheduling and processing fortnightly payments and remittances Monitoring and managing bank balances and preparing reconciliations across multiple entities Processing and reconciling credit card statements on a monthly basis Performing trial balance reconciliations Maintaining the fixed asset register and processing monthly depreciation entries Assisting with the preparation of periodic management reports and year‑end work papers Managing the finance inbox and responding to internal and external queries promptly Maintaining filing systems and regularly archiving documents Providing general administrative and clerical support as required Undertaking ad‑hoc tasks to support the wider finance team The Expertise Please consider expressing interest if you possess the following: Proven experience in a bookkeeping, accounts clerk, or similar accounting role Proficiency in accounting software, particularly MYOB and the MS Office suite Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes Experience in an investment environment is highly desirable but not essential Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines The Next Step If this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration or a copy of the position description, please call Elise Karanfilovski for a confidential discussion on ***.
