Tax Accountant – Global Business | Sydney CBD | Hybrid | Up to $120k + Super + Bonus Join a highly successful, acquisitive global organisation (~$1.5bn revenue) operating across multiple continents, and play a key role in their Group Tax function. This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically strong Tax Accountant looking to broaden their exposure in a widely varied tax focussed role in a complex, multinational environment. The Opportunity This permanent role sits within the corporate finance team and supports the Group Tax Manager in delivering all tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities across the organisation and its international entities. You’ll gain exposure to group tax strategy, advisory work, and collaboration with commercial, legal, HR, payroll and external advisors. The business offers a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the Sydney CBD office) . Ideal for someone with 2–4+ years of Australian tax experience , either from a large corporate tax function or professional services. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review tax compliance obligations including income tax, FBT and BAS. Support tax reporting activities including tax provisions, year-end tax notes, and tax-effect accounting. Manage tax payments and accounts: PAYG instalments, withholding tax, FBT etc. Provide tax advice on operational and business matters including GST, employment taxes and income tax. Monitor tax legislation changes and communicate impacts to the business. Assist with enhancing end-to-end tax processes, controls and governance. Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors on compliance and consulting matters. Skills & Experience Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Australian tax within a large corporate or Big 4/mid-tier firm. Strong grounding in tax compliance, tax accounting and advisory. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Experience with tax technology tools beneficial. Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines. Why Apply?
