Base pay range A$130,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Maven Partners Australia Business Advisory and Tax at Maven Partners The Opportunity Maven Partners are partnering with a leading renewable energy organisation to recruit a Tax Accountant for their high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business at the forefront of Australia and New Zealand’s transition to sustainable energy. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale renewable energy projects within a collaborative and innovative environment. You will support tax compliance, planning, and strategy across multiple entities while working alongside experienced finance professionals and external advisors. Responsibilities Prepare and review tax filings (income tax, BAS, FBT) for Australian and New Zealand entities Assist in developing tax strategies to optimise the organisation’s tax position Liaise with external advisors and ensure timely and accurate lodgement of all tax obligations Support tax audits, due diligence processes, and compliance with local tax regulations Monitor legislative changes in tax law and communicate their impact to stakeholders Requirements Professional qualification (CPA, CA, or CTA) 3-5 years working in a large Advisory firm ideally Big 4 or mid-tier or a corporate Strong understanding of Australian tax law Excellent communication and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment Maven Partners Maven Partners is a specialist financial advisory, accounting and taxation recruitment services business.
