Vitality Bowls is launching our first cafes in the Greater Boston area. In fact, these will be the flagship stores in New England. Vitality Bowls, a Superfood Café, specializes in life changing, customer-centric, all-natural eats – Açai bowls, smoothies, fresh juice, salads, wraps, and more. Shift Leader Job Description Lead the team on daily operations, ensuring food is made accurately and in a timely manner. Display a thorough knowledge of our recipes and communicate effectively with other staff – be a team player. Have excellent customer service when processing orders at the point-of-sale, taking phone orders, and inputting third-party delivery orders. Assist dissatisfied customers and ensure all customers leave happy. Communicate with manager or owner on inventory status and employee performance. Requirements Become food safety certified. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and have a sense of urgency. Compensation Compensation: $ per hour Vitality Bowls specializes in making delicious açaí bowls, a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients. Additional antioxidant-rich menu items include smoothies, juices, salads and more. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each item. Get to know your guests and make them regulars. Make a memorable connection and send each guest off with a smile. Know Your Stuff – Become knowledgeable about the menu and preparation methods, including gluten free modifications. Being fitness and nutritionally minded will help you understand your customer. Develop a good understanding of each ingredient’s nutritional values. Deliver a perfect meal item every time.
