Description Support Workers Gold Coast North Salary: From $36.89 - $67.75 per hour About us Right at Home provides in-home support to people living with complex and post-operative care needs, dementia and cognitive decline, seniors and adults living with a disability including NDIS participants. Our service is available 24/7, supporting our clients and participants to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community. Position Available Casual Working with our seniors and NDIS participants on the Gold Coast 10 – 25 hours per week Our Values Approachable, Accountable, Authentic, Collaborative and Integrity Duties and responsibilities include Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and eating assistance Social support / transportation for social activities, shopping / groceries, travelling to GP and hospital appointments Domestic assistance: light household cleaning / laundry and meal preparation Supporting clients with the use of aids and personal equipment Supporting clients with complex and / or challenging needs Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress Provide updates on clients progress following each service About you Caring, compassionate and approachable Written / verbal communication skills Reliable and flexible Ability to build rapport and good working relationships Comfortable using technology (mobile app) for accessing rosters and recording clients notes and feedback What you will need Hold a Certificate III Individual / Disability / Aged Support or similar qualification NDIS Worker Screening Check / NDIS Orientation module certificate Criminal Police Check less than 3 years Current First Aid and CPR certificate Current Australian Open Driver’s License Reliable, registered, and comprehensive insured vehicle Valid working rights in Australia Smart phone with internet access Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations Have the capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job that may include manual handling tasks Next Steps Ready to make a change?
