Senior Custom Homes Estimator – Residential Builder Location: North-West Sydney Role Type: Full-Time Join a respected residential builder renowned for delivering architecturally designed custom homes across Sydney. As the business continues to expand, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Custom Homes Estimator to lead complex estimating functions and support cross‑departmental excellence. About the Role As the Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end estimating for bespoke projects, providing leadership, accuracy, and strategic cost management across tendering, sales estimates, BOQs, and construction budgets. This position suits someone who brings deep industry knowledge, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can confidently manage high‑value, architecturally driven builds. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, and tender documentation Oversee and quality‑check estimates prepared by junior or intermediate estimators Collaborate closely with design, drafting, sales, and construction teams to identify cost efficiencies Produce detailed BOQs, variations, purchase orders, and project budget updates Analyse complex construction drawings, engineering, and consultant documentation Maintain accurate pricing and ensure database integrity across all systems Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing Systems & Software Databuild Framework Onsite Companion Planswift Skills & Experience 5+ years estimating experience within residential construction Strong background working on architecturally designed and custom home projects Ability to interpret complex plans, engineering, specifications, and high‑detail documentation Proven ability to mentor team members and support process improvement Exceptional communication, accuracy, and problem‑solving skills Strong organisational ability and attention to detail Why Join This Builder?
