We’re on the lookout for a Part-Time Cleaner to join our close-knit team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the children, families, and staff in our centre. You’ll work alongside our amazing educators and centre cook to keep everything sparkling and hygienic. Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 6:00pm (additional hours may be available as Kitchen hand in kitchen if interested) What You’ll Be Doing: Safely using approved cleaning products General cleaning duties: vacuuming, dusting, sanitising, mopping Laundry tasks including washing, drying, and folding centre linens Keeping all areas spotless – childcare rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, offices and staff areas Stocking cleaning supplies What You’ll Need: To be available Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 6:00pm (essential) Previous experience cleaning in a childcare or aged care environment is highly regarded A friendly, positive attitude and a strong eye for detail Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) First Aid Certificate for Education and Care or willingness to obtain National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain The right to work in Australia What We Offer: A warm, supportive team environment Great work-life balance with set part-time hours Staff discounts and a wellness program Uniform provided About Ascolta Early Learning and Care: "Ascolta" means "to listen" in Italian – and that’s exactly what we do.
