Join our client, a leading signage specialist with over 50 years of experience in building brand presence and committed to creating the best signage solutions company of the 21st century Position Summary As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless implementation of a range of signage programs, overseeing projects from initial quote acceptance through to final installation. You'll be a vital contributor to project success and business growth, dedicated to delivering outcomes that drive complete customer loyalty. Handling projects of all sizes, from large construction endeavours to retail installations, you'll bring exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail to every task. What You'll Do Operating in a dynamic signage manufacturing and installation setting. This role requires strong project management skills, a customer-first approach, and excellent communication abilities to effectively coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. The Project Manager ensures projects adhere to client specifications, remain within budget, and are completed on time, thereby contributing to our client’s on‑time delivery and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules using tools like Microsoft Project and Smartsheet. Coordinate and oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality standards, client specifications, and budgetary constraints. Engage with clients to define scope requirements and budget considerations. Facilitate the procurement process for subcontractors and ensure alignment with project objectives. Coordinate logistics, permits, and other site-specific considerations for successful installations. Monitor project costs and expenses. Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors. Proactively identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Attend site meetings, conduct site walk‑throughs, oversee installations, and provide detailed progress updates. Resolve problems and conflicts with vendors and contractors, negotiating change orders as needed. Ensure compliance with our client’s process flow. Contribute to departmental goals and support business growth. Drive strong client relationships and deliver projects that reinforce customer loyalty. Proactively identify and address potential issues to reduce rework requirements. Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate project data within the ERP system. What You’ll Bring Proactive, enthusiastic, and customer‑centric approach. Demonstrated leadership and problem‑solving capability. Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in signage or a related field. Basic understanding of signage or bespoke manufacturing processes. Experience working with diverse clients and providing exceptional service. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors and internal stakeholders. High proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including MS Project, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of regulatory and OH&S requirements applicable to construction and signage. Desirable for the role Qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience in construction, transport, and/or government projects. Experience with ERP enterprise software (preferably Epicor). Proficiency with tools such as Smartsheet, Visio, Aconnex, and other construction or government documentation systems. NOTE This is a temp to perm position with an immediate start based in Altona.
