About the role: RMH is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician (Grade 3 + Senior Allowance - TH10 + 10%) to join our Inpatient Services team. Working across both City and Royal Park campuses, you will support safe, timely and cost‑effective pharmaceutical care by coordinating daily workflows, leading training and mentoring, promoting teamwork, and acting as a senior point of support across inpatient services. Key responsibilities: Support the Lead Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient Services to coordinate the day‑to‑day operation of the Pharmacy Inpatient services including discharges, non‑imprest review and ward technician services. Lead a dynamic team of motivated individuals (Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists) to provide high‑quality inpatient Pharmacy services. Train and develop others to provide these services. Participate in leadership decisions to shape the technician‑led inpatient pharmacy services of the future. Maintain a customer focus for all services within the scope of the position. Contribute to after‑hours, public holiday, and weekend services. Participate in meetings and committees. About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: Qualifications Certificate IV in Hospital Health Services Support or equivalent. Minimum 3 years experience as a hospital pharmacy technician. Demonstrated ability to work with autonomy, accuracy and accountability. Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused approach. Established dispensary experience and skills. Reliable, organised and able to work calmly in a dynamic environment. Experience using the Merlin® dispensing system. Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
