What you'll be doing This diverse position provides specialised Clinical Psychology services to infants, children, adolescents, parents, and families within the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) Cardiac Service. The role encompasses the delivery of inpatient and outpatient psychological interventions, including via telehealth, to support patients and their families throughout the cardiac care continuum. In addition, the position is responsible for contributing to health‑promotion initiatives, such as delivering caregiver psychoeducation sessions to inpatients and their families on the ward, to enhance understanding, adjustment, and wellbeing. You will work as a valued member of a high‑performing, multidisciplinary team of health professionals, collaborating closely to deliver integrated, patient‑centred care. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the programme’s research and teaching activities, supporting ongoing innovation, service development, and the education of future clinicians. The position will abide by the hospital code of conduct and participate in annual performance reviews for clinical services in accordance with the Clinical Psychologist (State) Award.
