Full time & Part time Temporary opportunities to provide training in adult interventional cardiology. This will include training in the catheterisation laboratory, inpatient care and outpatient assessments.The training is primarily to ensure competency in percutaneous coronary intervention.The trainee will have some exposure to intervention in structural heart disease.It is expected that the appointee will undertake a research project.This position is to provide a high-quality service within the Health Service District and to participate, if requested, in the provision of services in Clinical Service Networks in Queensland Health, including Indigenous Cardiac Outreach Program.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:Accountable to senior medial officers to whom he/she for the overall clinical care of patients allocated and maintaining the highest professional standards of practice and care.Accountable to the Clinical Director, Catheterisation Laboratory, Director of Cardiology, and finally the Executive Director of The Prince Charles Hospital, for compliance with hospital policy and procedures, for general behaviour and standards, practice and care.
