Regional Sales Manager

Microavia is a leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative drones, located in the Silicon Oasis area of Dubai. We are committed to creating the technologies of the future, ensuring high quality and functionality of our products. In Microavia we are developing a drone‑in‑a‑box solution for critical infrastructure & perimeter surveillance. The heart of the system is server‑side software that puts together drones, landing stations, client computers, and other devices. Users have full control over any drone connected to the system, including live video streaming. Operation of the system is highly automated, server software controls all operations: performing flights according to schedule, battery swap, preflight checks, missions uploading, downloading high resolution data after flight, and many other necessary things. A typical setup may count up to 100 drones‑in‑a‑box. We develop all mechanics, electronics, on‑board and ground software ourselves, which allows us to effectively integrate all components with each other and quickly solve issues and implement new features. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Manager to drive the growth of our B2B and B2G sales across Australia and the Asia region. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative company at the forefront of drone technology and lead our business development efforts in a key strategic region. Key Responsibilities Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Design and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the Australia and the Asia region market, focusing on both B2G and B2B sectors to increase market share and meet revenue goals. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify new business opportunities, build and nurture long‑term relationships with key clients, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the drone industry to support strategic planning and market positioning. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the value of Microavia’s drone solutions to potential clients and partners. Lead Generation and Pipeline Management: Proactively generate leads and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. Offer Preparation and Contract Negotiation: Prepare tailored offers and negotiate terms that align with both client needs and company objectives. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing, support) to ensure customer feedback is integrated into our product development roadmap and overall strategy. Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, pipeline development, and strategic insights. Qualifications & Experience 5–10 years of proven experience in B2G and B2B sales, preferably within the technology, aerospace, defense, or security sectors. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Fluency in English is required. Strong understanding of the Australia and the Asia region business environment and experience working across the region. In‑depth knowledge of the drone industry or related technology fields is a strong advantage. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Self‑driven and capable of working independently within a remote, international team.
