Growing top quality trees is our passion and we are looking for an experienced Nursery Hand who shares this passion, to join our team This role is suited to you if you have Production Nursery experience and are keen to broaden your nursery skills and industry knowledge. You enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, enthusiastic approach. What you’ll be doing An essential part of our production process, the key duties of this role include: Planting, potting and propagation Budding and grafting Plant maintenance including weeding, pruning, staking Grading, loading and tying trees during bare root season General nursery and labouring duties What we’re looking for Experience in production nursery or horticulture required Strong communication and time management skills A keen interest in productivity and efficiency improvements Leadership capabilities Enjoys and contributes positively to our team environment Must have Australian work rights Why you’ll love working with us Hands‑on rewarding work in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges Mentoring from leaders experienced in the horticulture industry Staff wellness initiatives Supportive and friendly team environment Learning and development opportunities About us JFT Nurseries is a third‑generation family‑run business, operating since 1981.
