Milk Collection Operations Scheduler - 5 on 3 off As the Milk Collection Operations Scheduler at Booth Transport, you will play a crucial role in managing the efficient scheduling and coordination of our milk collection fleet across the Tasmanian region. This full-time position, operating on a 5 on 3 off roster, is responsible for ensuring milk is collected from dairy farms in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet the needs of our clients. What you’ll be doing Developing and maintaining detailed schedules for milk collection routes and drivers Tracking and monitoring the performance of the milk collection fleet, making adjustments to schedules as needed Optimising collection routes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs Liaising with dairy farmers, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless milk collection services Providing regular reporting on milk collection activities and key performance metrics Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes Assisting with the training and development of milk collection team members What we’re looking for Experience in planning or scheduling role, ideally within the transport, logistics or agricultural industries Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Proficient in using transportation management and scheduling software A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a team environment A keen eye for detail and a problem‑solving mindset Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements What we offer Comprehensive training and development opportunities A collaborative and inclusive company culture About us Booth Transport is a leading provider of transportation and logistics services Australia Wide.
