We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Principal Data Analyst (Fabric Data Engineer / Fabric Analytics Engineer) to join our Financial Services and Business Analysis Unit. At Legal Aid Queensland, we are looking for an accomplished Principal Business Analyst to shape financial strategies, optimise operational performance, and contribute to advancing our vision of a fair and just society. If you're looking for a role where your financial expertise can make a real difference, we want to hear from you About You Extensive experience in financial and budget management, with the ability to create, analyse, and improve cost models and financial reporting. Advanced technical capabilities in SQL, MS Excel, Fabric/Power BI, and experience with financial platforms including Finance1 and business intelligence tools such as SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS. A proven ability to synthesise complex datasets, deliver accurate recommendations and forecasting models, and provide strategic advice aligned with organisational objectives. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly in negotiating and delivering persuasive financial and operational. As a member of the Legal Aid Queensland Community, you will receive: Financial Generous salary packaging – up to $30,000 fringe benefit tax.
