About the Role Reporting to the Chain of Responsibility Manager, you’ll play a vital role in assisting clients with maintaining and improving their safety, compliance, and accreditation standards. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision, ensuring every audit and report meets the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. You’ll work in a technical, fast‑paced environment where accuracy and sound judgment are essential. Each decision will rely on your ability to analyse information, assess risks, and apply your expertise to deliver correct and timely results. This role demands confidence in your knowledge and a strong commitment to getting the job done right. This role is best suited to someone who thrives when working autonomously, brings a proactive and forward‑thinking mindset, and takes initiative to ensure every process is followed accurately and consistently. Key Responsibilities Conduct and support heavy vehicle compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) audits. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of NHVAS, AMCAS, WAHVA and TruckSafe, ensuring all client audits are completed accurately and on time. Develop and deliver both online and onsite training to support clients in meeting accreditation and compliance requirements. Build strong, professional relationships with clients as their main point of contact. Research and interpret legislative changes to keep clients compliant. Deliver high‑quality reports, documentation, and audit findings on time. Balance multiple client projects while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Travel across Australia to conduct audits, meet with our clients, and oversee compliance activities, ensuring standards are maintained consistently across all sites. What You’ll Bring Experience in heavy vehicle compliance or auditing, or a willingness to train and gain auditing accreditation if not already certified. Strong time management and interpersonal skills. A proactive, organised mindset, with a strong focus on precision and follow‑through. Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines with consistency. Committed to maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge through ongoing research, analysis, and adaptation to legislative and framework changes. Qualifications NHVAS or AMCAS/TruckSafe auditor accreditation. Certification in Training and Assessment. Relevant tertiary qualifications. NOTE: Candidates who do not currently hold the required accreditations must be willing to undertake the necessary steps to become a qualified auditor.
