The Opportunity The Compensation & Reward Analyst supports the design, delivery, and administration of compensation, benefits and reward programs, while working within the frameworks and governance of a global organisation. This role provides analytical insights, supports cyclical reward processes, ensures data accuracy, and helps maintain market competitiveness and compliance across all KBR Australia business lines. In partnership with the Compensation & Benefits Lead, you will ensure the Australian business remains competitive, compliant, and aligned to global ‘Total Reward’ standards and KBR Compensation philosophy. It directly supports the employee experience, influences key HR decisions, and provides critical analytical insights to leaders. Responsibilities Compensation & Reward Analytics Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, and job evaluation using global job architecture and external survey data. Prepare modelling and analysis to support pay decisions, merit reviews, promotions, and retention proposals. Maintain salary structures and pay ranges in alignment with global frameworks and Australian market trends. Support annual remuneration review cycles including merit, bonus and market adjustments. Provide reward insights, dashboards, and reporting for HR Business Partners and leaders. Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, and job evaluation using global job architecture and external survey data. Administer and prepare modelling for cyclical local incentive programs. Assist with global mobility/expatriate compensation modelling and reward. Support governance, compliance and remuneration reporting (e.g., WGEA, ABS, Fair Work minimum wage). Act as a key point of contact for compensation & reward queries from HR and business leaders. Work collaboratively with global Reward and HRIS teams on process improvements and alignment initiatives. Governance and Compliance Ensure process controls are adhered to, to achieve the required governance and compliance with company and legal requirements. Provide input into people policies and procedures and support maintenance. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Experience in compensation, reward or HR analytics. Demonstrated reporting, metrics and analytic experience with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly. Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel (e.g., modelling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HR systems. Exposure to job architecture, grading systems, or global reward frameworks (desirable). Understanding of Australian employment legislation, superannuation, leave frameworks, and remuneration practices. Familiarity with remuneration surveys (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Aon). Experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar HRIS platforms (desirable). High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Demonstrated decision making and problem‑solving skills. Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline (desirable) Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation (desirable). Strong relationship management and communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to a customer service mindset.
