– demonstrates sound decision quality, ensures accountability, demonstrates courage in the face of adversity and works effectively / manages complexity to ensure work output and decisions are ethical and invariably of a high standardProvision of high quality evidence-based, patient/client centred care over a range of HIV and sexual health management (incorporating comprehensive management of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, public health, genital dermatology, gender care, sexual dysfunction and viral hepatitis) as a part of the MDT to provide careThe Physician will participate in teaching and education of other members of the multidisciplinary team as well as the development of evidence-based guidelines, service development, models of care collaboration and engagement with stakeholders/ consumers. Additionally, research and to provide research supervision are parts of role.A strong, demonstrated record of community engagement, leadership and advocacy for individuals from priority populations ( priority populations in accordance with National and State HIV, BBV and STI Strategies, action plans and frameworks ), including
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peopleculturally and linguistically diverse people from high HIV prevalence countries, people who travel to these countries, and their partnersgay men and other men who have sex with menpeople in custodial settingspeople who inject drugspeople with HIVsex workerstrans and gender diverse people
