Partnering with the Head of Platform Content Strategy, youʼll be leading the delivery of News Corpʼs enterprise off-platform strategy, including social media, Apple News, AI, and emerging platforms. Spanning implementation, measurement, governance, tools, experimentation, and capability building, youʼll also lead, coach, and support our many mastheads and brands to deliver exceptional outcomes off-platform. In short, youʼll be one of the key drivers ensuring we maximise the value of our content off-platform, to help our journalism serve more Australians, more often. What You’ll Do Lead the end-to-end delivery of News Corp Australiaʼs off-platform strategy projects. Partner with the Head of Platform Content Strategy to manage the ongoing development and evolution of the off-platform strategy and roadmap, aligning initiatives with broader business objectives and audience growth goals. Guide and coach brands to implement the enterprise off-platform strategy through tailored playbooks and frameworks that drive excellence across channels. Lead enterprise insights and reporting, translating performance data into clear, actionable narratives that inform strategic direction and demonstrate impact. Manage strong partnerships with major platforms and vendors, ensuring News Corpʼs strategic priorities and commercial interests are consistently represented. Consultation & Capability Design and lead consultation, workshops, learning initiatives, and forums that strengthen off-platform performance and capability. Build and nurture a connected community of practice across the business to drive collaboration, share emerging insights, and scale best practices. Partner with brands and mastheads on high-impact campaigns and editorial initiatives, providing strategic guidance on audience growth, engagement, and monetisation. Collaborate with cross-functional partners across News Corp to align efforts, share intelligence, and embed consistent off-platform excellence. Lead initiatives to evaluate, pilot, and scale emerging off-platform technologies, formats, and content opportunities. Partner with our teams to identify and test new pathways for audience growth and monetisation. Identify and interpret shifts in algorithms, distribution models, and platform capabilities to inform strategic direction. Capture learnings from experimentation and translate them into frameworks, playbooks, and case studies that embed innovation across the organisation. Who are you? 8+ experience in social media, strategy, audience development, or related fields. Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects or programs within complex, multi-brand organisations. Demonstrated understanding of social, search, video, and aggregator ecosystems, including platform governance and monetisation models. Strong capability in stakeholder management, change leadership, and data-informed decision-making. Experience engaging with technology vendors and platform partners to drive business outcomes. Naturally analytical thinker who can interrogate data to distill insights, and recommend. Tertiary qualification in media, communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline is desirable.
