The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0 . This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history. About Us Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is delivering the iconic Snowy 2.0 project, a pumped-hydro expansion that will underpin Australia’s renewable energy future. FGJV brings together the expertise of Webuild , Clough , and Lane Construction , forming a Tier One powerhouse in infrastructure delivery. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Lead to manage the contractual and procurement aspects of this multi-billion-dollar project. Based in Cooma, NSW, you will lead negotiations, ensure compliance, and support the delivery of critical materials, plant, equipment, services, and subcontracts. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement and negotiation of civil, engineering, supply, and construction contracts. Prepare and manage subcontract agreements and variations. Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual obligations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, and construction teams. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and government representatives. Ensure all procurement activities align with environmental, safety, and quality standards. About You Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law , or equivalent experience. Minimum 15 years’ experience in contracts administration with Tier One contractors. Strong understanding of contract law , project deeds, and construction regulations. Experience in heavy infrastructure, power plants, or tunnelling is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems. Why Join FGJV?
