Senior Research Project Manager - Workplace Mental Health Job No.: Location: Clayton campus, Monash UniversityEmployment Type: Full-timeDuration: 2-year fixed-term appointmentRemuneration: $120,138 - $132,610 per annum, HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation) Responsibilities Amplify your impact through national workplace mental health, safety and wellbeing research. Manage the coordination of nationally significant projects with industry, regulators, unions, governments and key stakeholders. Collaborate with MHWA’s diverse partners to co‑design, develop, govern, and report on research initiatives. Oversee a portfolio of complex multi‑partner research projects from scoping through to full implementation. Manage ethics approvals, research governance, project contracting, and financial oversight. Monitor benefits realisation and long‑term outcomes for industry and other priority groups. Success in this role relies on strong stakeholder relationships, clear communication, effective collaboration, and delivering practical solutions in a fast‑paced start‑up environment. Qualifications & Experience Strong project management experience, supported by relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent expertise. Excellent research project and ethics management skills. Advanced planning, organisational, and relationship management capabilities. Proven ability to work across diverse teams and navigate complex project environments.
