About the Client Our client is a major government organisation undergoing significant digital transformation initiatives. Their Project Management Office (PMO) provides a centralised resourcing model that supports large-scale ICT programs, change initiatives and business improvement projects across the enterprise. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex ICT projects in alignment with established PMO policies, standards, and governance frameworks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards – supporting strategic business outcomes. Reporting to the Project Executive and the Director – PMO, you’ll lead cross‑functional teams, manage vendors, and ensure the successful delivery of enterprise‑level technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver large and complex ICT projects in line with PMO and government standards. Assess business requirements, identify synergies, and deliver strategic technology solutions. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and benefits realisation. Oversee vendor performance and contract deliverables. Implement change management and training activities for project rollouts. Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and project documentation to senior stakeholders. Foster collaboration and communication across multiple business units. About You You will bring strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills, with proven success in delivering large‑scale ICT projects in complex environments. Key Requirements Demonstrated experience in ICT project management within a large corporate or government setting. Proven success managing multiple projects under pressure to meet time and cost targets. Certified in project management best practices (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile). Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical abilities. Experience in change management and benefits realisation. Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additional Requirements Must hold Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or NZ Citizenship.
