The culture at Revantage is built on our shared core values and commitment to be:AchieversWe expect high standards for ourselves and enable the success of our teams.We face challenges with optimism and believe anything is possible.LeadersWe commit to continuously improve our performance.LearnersWe commit to continuously improve our performance.PartnersWe deliver value and positive impact to our partners.ROLE SUMMARYWorking with the VP, General Counsel of APAC and Senior Legal Counsel in Australia and New Zealand to provide legal advice, services and support across the business to ensure that Revantage and its clients meet all legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.Primary RoleProviding high quality advice, services and support to Revantage ANZ and our clients on a wide variety of legal matters across Australia and New ZealandWorking with the APAC Legal team, the Senior Legal Counsel in Australia and New Zealand to create a culture of compliance within Revantage ANZ and its clientsProviding advice to the business on relevant/applicable laws including retail leasing, residential tenancies, FIRB, construction, privacy, WHS and other areas of property and commercial lawProviding legal training to employees and our clientsDeveloping and maintaining legal precedents, driving consistency and continuous improvementDrafting, reviewing and negotiating works and consultancy contracts, service agreements and other general commercial contractsProviding legal sign-off to facilitate documentation execution by Revantage ANZ and its clientsCo-ordinating the provision of legal services and advice to the business by external legal advisors on-time, within scope and within budgetManaging disputes, drafting letters of demand, representing our clients in tribunal hearings and mediations (in conjunction with external legal counsel) and providing recommendations for resolution and settlementAssisting with the negotiation of lease and licence documentation across retail, residential, industrial and office assetsAssisting on asset disposals and settlement requirementsAssisting with property related legal due diligence on transactionsAssisting with special projects involving the Legal teamKEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPSExternal:External legal providersClient portfolio companies, including 151 Property, Fort Knox and Student OneBlackstoneInternal:Tax Advisory & Compliance teamCorporate Financial Planning & Analysis teamPortfolio Accounting & Financial Reporting teamCapital Markets teamCorporate Secretarial teamTechnology teamWhat You Bring To The RoleRequired:Up to 2 years PQE at a reputable law firm or in-house in property, commercial, litigation or another relevant practice areaSound legal judgement combined with a strong business acumenExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and a focus on resultsAble to operate under pressure and tight deadlinesCritical thinker and ability to solve practical problemsHigh level of customer centricityAbility to initiate and direct collaborative efforts of multiple teams throughout the organisation, including internal resources, external resources and other constituent groups as appropriate with the aim of further company goalsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and DocusignEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher in LawPreferred:Experience in in-house legal operationsKnowledge of Workday and AnaplanPerks for YouCompetitive remunerationWork-life balance offerings include:Productivity hours – weekly meeting-free work timeHealth and well-being programsBirthday leaveVolunteering leaveSporting and social activitiesIn-house and external learning & development opportunitiesEEO STATEMENTOur company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
