Due to this growth we are now seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a full‑time basis. You will report to the Design Team Leader and work on projects across NSW. What you’ll be doing: Provide electrical engineering design solutions for our clients Deliver quality designs in a guaranteed time Work as part of a team to produce designs Communicate with clients and authorities Complete site inspections and measurements for your projects Exciting projects we expect you to lead or be involved in: Upgrade works for major infrastructure around NSW Supply for data centres Asset relocation designs Substations for high‑profile multi‑storey residential apartments Delivery of 1,000+ lots of residential and industrial developments About You ASP 3 Registration with NSW Office of Energy and Climate Change ASP 3 Accreditation with NSW Electricity Distributors (Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid, and Essential Energy) or the ability to readily gain accreditation Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) Experience with Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy, and Ausgrid ASP Level 3 Design Sound knowledge of NSW Electricity Distributors network standards & NSW Contestability Framework Demonstrated experience in project management Experience in overhead and underground distribution & transmission designs Registered or eligible for registration on the National Engineers Register (NER) within the Electrical Category Minimum 2 years experience in the NSW Power Distribution Industry Other skills that would be seen as advantageous to your application Demonstrated experience with private HV & LV designs to AS/NZS 2067 & AS/NZS 3000 Good knowledge of the NSW Service and Installation rules Good knowledge of building services electrical engineering Experience across a range of electrical design projects Good knowledge of earthing system design Personal Attributes we are looking for Strong attention to detail with high level of time management and organisational skills Excellent communication skills & highly relational Confident and knowledgeable Committed to ongoing professional development; attends professional conferences, focuses on best practices, introduces newly gained knowledge and skills to the Company Has a keen eye for detail Is an energetic self‑starter Works well both individually and in a team Has a ‘can‑do’ attitude Ability to identify and assess safety in design risks Ability to make decisions efficiently and effectively What We Offer You Competitive salary package Two office locations: Parramatta and Charlestown Ability to choose between either of our office locations as your base Hybrid work‑from‑home flexibility Rostered days off once a month or a nine‑day fortnight Ongoing training opportunities Variety of projects from 415 V to 132 kV A market‑leading supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable company culture If this sounds like you, please apply, we would love to hear from you and discuss the future. #J-18808-Ljbffr
