Customer Service – Rental Sales Agent (with future opportunity to progress into a Fleet Role) Avis & Budget Car & Truck Rental – Ballarat Avis & Budget Car & Truck Rental is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Rental Sales Agent to join our Ballarat branch. This position will commence on a casual basis with a four-month trial , with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role . Availability across both weekdays and weekends may be required. Our Western Victoria franchise is a family-owned business, operating across 13 locations and continuing to expand. The Role This is a customer service and office-based position where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include: Greeting customers and processing rental agreements Managing telephone and email enquiries, including reservations Preparing and maintaining rental documentation Ensuring vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and ready for hire Coordinating vehicle movements, deliveries, and returns Assisting with fleet management and daily operational tasks About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Strong customer service and communication skills Professional presentation and attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Confidence using multiple computer systems High attention to detail and problem-solving ability A valid driver’s license A willingness to learn and progress within the business Previous experience in the car rental or hire industry is highly regarded* Join a stable and growing family-owned company for over 25 years.
