Flexible shift opportunities available including early morning, afternoon and night shifts across a 7-day week. The successful candidate must be adaptable and willing to work varying shift times. In this role you will contribute to the delivery of effective cleaning and hygiene services to delegated areas of the Hospital and prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals. Mater Private Hospital Mackay has been providing the highest level of care to the people of Mackay and surrounds since 1927. Our current hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services. About you For this position we offer to opportunity to expand your skillset by gaining experience in our kitchen and hospitality team and gain experience in food services, room service and cleaning areas where suitable. We are ideally looking for candidates that have: Previous experience in a hospital or hotel cleaning/good services role Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Knowledge of current food hygiene principles, practices, and legislation Ability to recognise and prioritise tasks effectively Ability to engage with a variety of people This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly hospitality team providing compassionate care to the local community.
