Estimator - Residential Home Builder

This building company has established their brand across the New South Wales for over three decades. They are a builder/developer, building spec homes on their own land sites. The role will work within the estimating team of a couple other Estimators, in a junior-mid-level capacity. The successful candidate will be production estimating on all projects.As the Estimator, you will be responsible for: Analyze plans, specifications, and site requirements to determine materials and labor needs. Generate quotes, tender documentation, and pricing proposals for clients, BOQs and purchase orders. Collaborate with sales, design, and construction teams to ensure cost accuracy. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs, subcontractor rates, and building regulations. Review variations and change orders to update estimates accordingly. To be considered for the position of Estimator you will require: Tertiary qualifications in construction or a trade background Experience pricing and delivering custom homes Good understanding of margins Ability to work Monday to Friday in an office and committing to a full-time role.
