Applications are sought for the following position: STUDENT WELLBEING OFFICER Starting in Term 1 of 2026 (15 JANUARY). About the Role: The Student Wellbeing team provides individual support to any identified student within the school (Prep - Year 12) that are facing challenges around social/emotional wellbeing. We provide practical support and short-term intervention, to increase student overall wellbeing and encourage engagement with external support systems. About You: We are looking for a heartfelt, genuine, adaptable Wellbeing Officer to provide support to students and families within our school. You will be working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve the best outcomes for all involved. Successful candidates must: Hold a minimum diploma level qualification in Counselling. At least 2 years working with children and young people. Strong knowledge of current evidence-based practices, policies and current legislation. Experience in working with Year 7 – 12 students. Be willing to work with the lifespan of King’s Students (Prep - Year 12). Have efficient communication skills to liaise with chaplains, teaching staff, management, parent and external providers. Understanding of case management with strong report writing and case noting skills. Be prepared to undergo professional development and ongoing supervision.
