Be valued—join our team today Role details Location: Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia Hours: shift options include 6:30-9:30AM (7 days a week) and 8-10AM or 6-8PM (7 days a week) Support for people with physical disabilities and mental health conditions What we're looking for Experienced disability support worker or someone with lived experience supporting a family member or friend with a disability; student nurses, physios, OTs, or other allied health professionals seeking casual work; local residents in Newcastle; career changers with transferrable skills Responsibilities Provide person-centered support to participants during scheduled shifts Requirements A genuine interest in supporting people with physical disabilities and mental health conditions NDIS Worker's Clearance Check Working with Children Check Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Driver's Licence Adequate physical ability to perform manual handling tasks Evidence of completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: "Quality, Safety, and You" Desirable but not essential Experience working with high intensity participants including bowel and catheter care Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
