Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)In Geebung, our client is a leading fabrication and machining engineering company specialising in delivering precision-engineered solutions to various industries. Our capabilities and skill set embrace a wide range of industries both locally and Australia-wide.Purpose of PositionTo manage all aspects of production, adhering to the provided schedule or communicating variations early.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with administrative staff to understand schedule priorities and sequence.Communicate priorities to the workshop floor and troubleshoot any roadblocks.Update administrative staff, customers, and suppliers on schedule status.Develop and implement weekly and fortnightly plans for suppliers (painters, transport providers, etc.); communicate and transact the plan.Build and maintain relationships with the supplier base to achieve excellent outcomes.Manage trade staff attendance and leave requests. Uphold company policies.Work with the Managing Director to develop and uphold safety standards and policies.Develop and execute maintenance plans for key equipment and workshop machinery.Organise repairs and servicing of workshop equipment. Assess tooling and equipment requests from the workshop floor and source as required.Partner with the Managing Director to perform trade staff recruitment, onboarding, induction, and skill development to continuously enhance the workforce’s capability.Facilitate the development of estimates with input from senior trade staff.Additional ExpectationsEnergetic and Proactive:
