Join a leading industry player in a stable full-time permanent role as a Production Manager, perfect for advancing your skills and career.
Job Details:Up to $140,000 depending experience and skill6:00am - 4:00pm Monday-FridayFlexibility with hoursLocated in the Zillmere areaKey Responsibilities:Work with admin staff to understand schedule priorities and sequence.Communicate priorities to workshop floor, troubleshoot any roadblocks.Communicate to admin staff, customers, and suppliers on schedule status.Develop weekly and fortnightly plans for suppliers (painters, transport providers, etc.); communicate and transact the plan.Build relationships with supplier base to achieve great outcomes.Manage tradestaff attendance and leave requests. Uphold company policies.In conjunction with the Managing Director, develop and uphold safety standards and policies.Develop and execute maintenance plans for key pieces of equipment and workshop machinery.Organise repairs and servicing of workshop equipment. Assess tooling and equipment requests from workshop floor and source as required.
Requirements:Have a technical aptitude with an engineering (degree qualified) or senior trade backgroundEnergetic and a doer who will thrive in a small businessNatural leadership and the ability to form relationshipsAbility to relate to all levels in a business (shop floor and senior management)Excellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to grow into a General Manager in the next 2-3 yearWhat Awaits You:Take charge as you lead a team in a state-of-the-art fabrication workshopLead and help drive a positive fabrication workshopEnjoy stable and sustainable employment
