Senior Solutions Architect (AWS, Java, Spring boot, Splunk) Location: Sydney Responsibilities: Responsible for developing end‑to‑end technology solution architectures. Lead the development of project solutions and navigate through architectural stage gates while taking ownership of project solutions, ensuring they align with Enterprise strategies. Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation of projects. Must have: Experience in Cloud (AWS), Java, Spring Boot, Splunk, Datadog, Solution Architecture. Experience in solution/system architecture across different business areas. Team player with experience leading and collaborating across teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Strong communication skills. Proven experience working with stakeholders at all levels across business and technology. Strong conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrating outside‑the‑box problem‑solving. Strategic business acumen with understanding of business strategies and ability to design technology to deliver that strategy. Experience with Cloud technology, preferably AWS. Enterprise Architecture Patterns such as Enterprise Application Integration, Service‑Oriented Architecture and Event‑Driven Architecture. Experience in agile and traditional methodologies & teams. Good to have: Airlines, Travel, or Transport industry experience highly regarded. Certifications in cloud (AWS), Architecture advantageous. Prior hands‑on experience in Java, Spring Boot, GitHub and Kafka. Familiarity with modern toolsets (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Datadog, etc.).
