About the Role Own the end‑to‑end architecture of a large‑scale greenfield digital platform. Lead full‑stack solution design across modern front‑end, back‑end and cloud infrastructure. Duties As a Senior Solution Architect, you will: Lead the definition and ownership of IT solution architectures across programmes and projects. Ensure designs are aligned with enterprise architecture and domain standards. Run solution workshops and communicate trade‑offs clearly to both business and technical stakeholders. Provide end‑to‑end oversight from solution design through to implementation and testing. Document solutions across all architecture domains (application, information, integration, infrastructure, security). Present solution designs to Architecture Review Board and guide required changes or exemptions. Work closely with project managers, developers, testers, and analysts to embed solutions effectively. Mentor junior architects and contribute to the maturity uplift of the architecture practice. Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 10 years in the role of a solution architect or equivalent. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Structured thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to influence and manage stakeholders. Experience delivering end‑to‑end solution designs (high level and detailed). Experience working on medium / large programmes/projects. Experience in producing end‑to‑end solution architecture encompassing functional, application, data, security, infrastructure and integration. Experience in communicating technical concepts to business people with a focus on business value and benefit. Experience in providing technical leadership and negotiating outcomes with other technical stakeholders. Experience in dealing with and managing multiple vendors. Deep knowledge of Cloud and CMS, full‑stack frameworks (AWS, Sitecore, MERN stack, Salesforce, etc.), configuration, customization, SPA, Webapps, Mobility, Microservices, micro front‑ends, integrations, security and performance optimisation. Highly Desirable Financial services experience, preferably insurance. Certification in architecture framework(s) e.g. TOGAF. AWS solution architect certification. Knowledge of MERN stack, Salesforce, Guidewire, Mulesoft and AWS services.
