In this role you will work closely with business experts and project stakeholders, and lead solution delivery teams to specify, design, implement, test, document and deliver PSImetals solutions to our customers.This includes:Analysing customer requirements and translating them into a solution design & specification, and mapping functional requirements to PSImetals modules and featuresSupporting customers with the implementation, customization, and commissioning of PSImetals solutions by leading a team of qualified developers and consultantsUsing and extending your PSImetals implementation expertise so you can advise on and design the customer’s production processes and system landscapeManaging project budgets and timelinesTraining and supporting the customer in the daily operation of the PSImetals solutionContinuously improving of running PSImetals implementationsPerforming customer workshops and delivering presentations on specific PSImetals modulesJob Requirements
Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Integrated Manufacturing or related disciplinesMinimum 5 years of experience as an MES Consultant, ideally in Steel or Aluminium productionExperience in MES Integration with ERP and L2 SystemsExperience in designing industrial software systems, including understanding of software development lifecyclesAnalytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirementsCustomer-focused mind-setExcellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter expertsFluent communication skills in EnglishWillingness to travel regularly, and work on-site at our customers’ locationsPreferred:Experience working with the PSImetals solutionsKnowledge or experience with Planning and Scheduling (APS Systems)Knowledge or experience in the metals industryHands-on SQL, PL/SQL and JAVA development experienceWe offer
