Volunteer Opportunity: Patient Support Role Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking compassionate and reliable volunteers to support patients in a hospital ward setting. Role Overview Assist patients with mealtime support, walking, and light mobility assistance. Engage patients in conversations and reminiscing activities to brighten their day. Comprehensive training provided, including understanding the needs of people living with dementia and delirium, and safe use of wheelchairs. What We Are Looking For Excellent communication and basic written skills. Confidence in engaging with nursing staff as part of a hospital ward team. Ability to assist with patient walking and mobility. Individuals aged between 18 and 80 years. Shifts & Commitment Flexible shift times: 34 hours per shift. Commitment to one shift per week or fortnight. Available Monday to Sunday. What We Provide A police clearance, fully paid for. Training and ongoing support.
