Automotive Operations Assistant Company: Carma Location: Sydney – St Peters (on‑site) Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time About The Role At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry. As a digital pre‑owned car dealership, we are turning the car buying experience into a hassle‑free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. Join our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing, buying, and in‑house reconditioning. As an Automotive Operations Assistant, you’ll build real expertise in the behind‑the‑scenes operations that bring every Carma vehicle to life. You’ll support end‑to‑end workflow coordination, quality checks, and vehicle preparation for customers. Key Responsibilities Inspection: Meticulously inspect Carma cars for any signs of damage. Data logging: Swiftly and accurately log vehicle details into the system – an iPad will be provided. Car washing: Wash, buff, and detail interiors and exteriors to perfection. Relocation: Move cars between our production and storage facilities. Support: Assist with day‑to‑day tasks to keep operations running smoothly. What We’re Looking For Experience working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment (automotive experience not required). Interest in cars or a willingness to learn more. Comfortable using tech, especially Apple products, and quick to learn new systems. Open to learning new ways of doing things. Ability to work on your feet with shifting priorities and juggle multiple tasks. Attention to detail and pride in high‑quality work. Valid NSW driver’s licence.
