Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer
will be responsible for:Responsible for delivery of Analysis packages of specific elements or the entire scope of projects, dependent on size / complexity of the work scope.Delivery of technically compliant design deliverables in accordance with the Design Input Requirements within budget and programme constraints.Capable of leading a team of Analysis Engineers and designers to deliver the appropriate solution from Front End Engineering to Detailed Design production.Provide Engineering Support to manufacture right through to client handover.Preparing calculations, reports, tender proposals and estimates, recommendations for approval withinSpecifically, the Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer will:Carry out defined calculations to determine the acceptability of a structural or mechanical component to a specified code/standard.Undertake analysis & calculations, particularly the design and analysis of mechanical plant & systems, mechanisms and structures.Write and check calculations and FE reportsExperience Required for Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer role:Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)Design and analysis experience of mechanical mechanisms and structuresConversant with 3D CAD software, Pro-Engineer or AutoCAD / InventorIndustrial experience in finite element analysis & classical stress analysisBroad experience comprising static, dynamic (vibration, modal, seismic) and non-linear analysisGood understanding of strength of engineering materialsProficient in the use of ANSYS (Classic or Workbench) / MathCad / StaadProUnderstands and works to the right first time culture and contributes to cease the flow of issues downstream.For the successful
