Location: Health Translation Hub, Randwick, NSW Role Overview The National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED) is a national research centre for methamphetamine and emerging drugs. It embeds research in clinical practice and aims to support clinicians to detect and respond to new drug health problems by building clinical research capacity and translating findings into clinical practice. Why this role matters – The Senior Research Fellow is a leadership role within NCCRED, within the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The Fellow will develop and lead research and translational outputs, undertake independent research in clinical, community or digital interventions with a focus on methamphetamine and emerging drugs, and report to the Director of NCCRED with 1‑4 direct reports. Key Skills and Qualifications A PhD in medicine, public health, or a related field, and/or relevant work experience. Proven commitment to proactively staying up to date with discipline knowledge and developments. Demonstrated track record in research with high‑quality, high‑impact outcomes and a clear desire to achieve research excellence and leadership. Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships. Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
