* **Hybrid work environment*** **Based in Sydney CBD*** **Full time fixed term salaried contract until January 2027****More sense, less common****Mandatory Requirements:*** Minimum **5 years’ experience** as a Business Analyst in **financial services or banking**.* Proven experience in **Cybersecurity**, **Data Protection**, or **Information Governance** programs.* Experience working in **Agile-Waterfall hybrid delivery models**.* Proficiency in **requirements gathering**, **process mapping**, and **stakeholder engagement**.* Excellent communication and documentation skills.* Plan and manage the Business Analysis approach to any project or BAU initiatives.* Design and implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing data requirements.* Translate complex business, strategic and technical information concisely for diverse audiences.* Understand, document and communicate the objectives, drivers and business value proposition of a change.* Create representative and conceptual models, prototypes, mock-ups and business and technical specifications.* Perform solution evaluation during procurement, Proof of Concept, pilot and post implementation phases to ensure appropriate quality and fitness for purpose.**Preferred Skills & Experience:*** Experience with **Microsoft Purview or**other data protection tools.* Familiarity with **risk and compliance frameworks** (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).* Exposure to **cloud platforms** (Azure, AWS) and **data governance tools**.* Experience working with **technical teams** to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.* Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders across the Reserve Bank and externally.* Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CIPP, CISSP, Agile BA).* Experience with **Confluence** for documentation and collaboration.* Proficiency in **JIRA** for backlog management, user stories, and sprint tracking.* Familiarity with other collaborative tools such as **Microsoft Teams**, **SharePoint**, **Miro**, or **Slack**.* Exposure to **Agile ceremonies** and tools supporting hybrid delivery models **Your Team**Technology is an inherent part of enabling the Reserve Bank of Australia's policy and operational objectives.
