Persian speaking-Volunteer Opportunity Aged Care Community Visiting Scheme Are you compassionate, friendly, and enjoy meaningful conversations? As part of the federally funded Community Visiting Scheme, we are seeking a caring volunteer to provide social support to an elderly resident living in an aged care facility in the Mount Colah area. This role is all about connection, companionship, and conversation, bringing joy and a sense of belonging to someone who would truly value your time. What's involved: Visiting the resident for at least 1 hour every fortnight on an ongoing basis Building a trusting relationship through regular social interaction Simply spending time chatting, sharing stories, and offering companionship We especially love to hear from you if you: Speak Persian Are reliable, patient, and compassionate Have a positive outlook and enjoy connecting with others Category: Seniors & Aged Care Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required: Weekly/Fortnightly Training: Training and orientation provided.
