About the role The Field Support Officer plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to a diverse audience, including staff, students, and key stakeholders. Leveraging their expertise from prior service desk experience, they offer a blend of virtual, on-site, and service desk support. Their responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving a wide range of client requests, from routine to complex, within the Digital Solutions Group. This tiered response approach ensures timely and effective solutions for our geographically dispersed community. About You As a Customer-Focused Field Support Officer, you will have minimum 2 years of technology expertise, adeptly navigating both virtual and on-site support scenarios. Your mission? To place your customers squarely at the heart of every decision. You are a champion of documentation, meticulously updating records and crafting user-friendly guides. Your goal? To elevate service resolution procedures to new heights. Collaboration is your secret sauce. You foster seamless communication between teams, ensuring everyone’s on the same wavelength. And when it comes to translating IT jargon into plain English, you’re the bridge that connects tech-savvy wizards with those who prefer their gadgets spellbound. In addition to the above, you will also need a current NSW drivers’ license. You will be required to travel to various other campus locations.
