Are you an experienced Principal Development Officer looking for a unique fixed-term opportunity to utilise your skills in our Partnerships, Strategy and Development, Products and Programs Team? Then please read on and apply for this wonderful opportunity, as we'd love to hear from you Sport and Recreation supports and encourages participation and success in sport and active recreation through delivery of: grant funding for sport and active recreation organisations and clubs, infrastructure and participation programs, the operation of precincts and venues, and through engaging and partnering with the active industry across Queensland. We're investing in our community to enrich the Queensland way of life through sport and active recreation, and we're also working to enable Queensland to deliver the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games on time and on budget. This Is Your Opportunity To Lead a team to deliver the quality design and development of Sport and Recreation programs, products and supporting tools and resources utilising relevant design and development methodologies at a high level to support relevant government priorities, strategic direction, stakeholder and client expectations. Develop and implement effective business processes to ensure programs are well-designed and appropriately documented, communicated (internally and externally), reviewed and analysed to ensure processes are up to date. Develop, influence and manage relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders to ensure programs meet their needs. Undertake complex business analysis and reporting functions for the team, including urgent requests for program information from across the department. Research and prepare proposals, project plans, recommendations, submissions and briefing papers of a complex nature. Continuously improve programs and products for stakeholders to ensure high level customer service. Provide professional, expert and timely advice to colleagues and senior management to inform strategy, direction and generation of solutions to complex problems. Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to develop a team that values continuous improvement and a collaborative culture focused on achievement of objectives within approved timeframes and budgets. Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
