Flexible in one of our many locations across Queensland, this Principal Project Officer role leads the delivery of the Enhanced Vegetation Management Engagement Project, a major $9.8 million initiative improving the effectiveness of Queensland’s vegetation management and compliance framework. Role Overview You’ll coordinate project delivery using your high‑level project‑management skills to support the State’s long‑term environmental and climate objectives. Working with experts across government, you’ll guide project implementation ensuring transparency, evidence‑based decision‑making and positive on‑ground outcomes. Responsibilities Lead project delivery activities, reporting and governance. Track progress, manage risks and monitor outcomes to ensure the project delivers on time and to a high standard. Provide authoritative advice, reports and correspondence for senior executives and stakeholders. Engage across government to promote transparency, education and consistency in practice. Manage project governance and implementation to enhance operations and improve information sharing between business areas.
