Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Utility Locator role based in Rouse Hill, NSW. The Utility Locator will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground services, including gas, water, electricity and fibre‑optic cables, to ensure safety and efficiency before groundworks. Daily tasks include using specialised equipment for utility detection, reviewing site plans, consulting with clients, maintaining equipment and preparing detailed reports. Qualifications Technical skills: Familiarity with utility locating equipment, ground‑penetrating radar and mapping technologies Safety expertise: Understanding of safety regulations, non‑destructive excavation methods and site inspection protocols Communication skills: Ability to effectively engage with clients, team members and stakeholders General skills: Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy Certifications: RIW certification, Telstra Fibre/Copper accreditation or comparable qualifications are highly regarded Additional assets: Experience in concrete scanning, drone operation (rePL and reOC) or related fields Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Geotrace Australia by 2×. #J-18808-Ljbffr
