Our QantasLink Cabin Crew represent us in the air and deliver best in class service and customer experience on our fleet of brand-new Airbus A220 aircraft. This is where memories are made. Sporting our iconic uniform, our cabin crew ensure the safety of our customers whilst making them feel at home, even while they’re thousands of feet in the air. Working as Cabin Crew for QantasLink on the A220 really does give you the opportunity to go above and beyond, with safety as our top priority. The qualities that we are looking for you to demonstrate in the role include the following: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Flexibility, dependability and commitment to the dynamic lifestyle as Cabin Crew Friendliness, caring, courage, empathy and inclusiveness in service with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and countries Compliance with all Company procedures and policies A caring approach when interacting with our customers Be trained and confident in aircraft safety procedures and first aid, and pass all training and assessment requirements To be successful, you’ll also need to meet the following minimum criteria to operate within the unique aircraft environment: Customer service or hospitality experience Minimum 18 years of age Minimum reach of 212cm from the ground (fingertips must reach past 212cm, with both hands at the same time and barefoot, enabling overhead emergency equipment to be reached) Maximum Height of 186cm Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency with unlimited working rights Hold a passport with 6 months validity at time of offer Current Senior First Aid Certificate completed within the last 12 months (or be willing to obtain at short notice) Current CPR accreditation (or be willing to obtain at short notice) – the CPR component is only valid for 12 months and a refresher course must be completed if expired Responsible Service of Alcohol 'Statement of Attainment' from a Nationally Accredited Provider, which you would need to have by the end of the recruitment process (or be willing to obtain at short notice) An excellent level of health and fitness, including the ability to swim 50 metres fully clothed and tread water for 3 minutes unassisted Ability to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical Please note - the role is based in Melbourne, Australia. You must be willing to work from this location and safely arrive at work within 2 Hours. Travel to work will be at your own expense. Why the Qantas Group?
