Elevate Asset and Facilities Management Pty Ltd – Newcastle NSW A leading specialist in asset and facilities management is seeking experienced Building Managers to support a quality strata and mixed-use property portfolio in the Newcastle region . Opportunities are available on a casual, part-time or full-time basis as we continue to grow and expand our portfolio. About the role Manage the day-to-day operations, presentation and safety of residential and/or mixed-use buildings. Coordinate and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections and contractor works. Act as the primary on-site contact for owners, residents, strata managers and service providers, ensuring clear and professional communication. Support WHS, risk management and compliance requirements, including site records and contractor inductions. Contribute to long-term asset preservation, building performance and continuous improvement initiatives. What you will be doing Conduct regular site inspections, identify issues and coordinate timely rectification. Liaise with and supervise trades and service providers (cleaning, security, mechanical, fire, lifts, landscaping and others). Manage work orders, maintenance logs and reporting using standard digital tools and building management systems (Stratafy, BuildingLink or similar). Respond to resident queries, building incidents and access needs with a strong customer-service approach. Assist with quotes, budget inputs and updates to the strata manager or asset owner as needed. About you Experience in building management, facilities management, strata, hospitality or a related property role. Strong stakeholder and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Practical understanding of building services and maintenance, with solid awareness of WHS and compliance. Organised, proactive and hands‑on, able to work independently and as part of a broader support team. Competent computer skills Competent computer skills, including email communication, preparing basic Word documents, and lodging work orders through building management systems such as Stratafy , BuildingLink or equivalent digital platforms. #J-18808-Ljbffr
